Just like in many European countries, the trend in the USA moved away from hearing devices equipped with the T-coil. The market for components for the inductive transfer of audio to hearing devices stagnated and saw a growing share of the market moving to infrared and radio systems.
Now a rapid return to the most comfortable solution for the hard of hearing is being seen in the USA: The rediscovery of the direct reception of audio signals generated by sound system equipment for events into the hearing aid. This trend has been confirmed by several of AUDIOropa's partners in the USA.
